Introducing Studio De Miranda

Known for brilliantly combining form and function, Studio Miranda creates awe-inspiring structures that span the world’s waterways.  The studio’s talented consulting engineering team use cutting edge technology to develop bridges that are as marvelous in aesthetic quality as they are in structural design.

Their Story

Studio De Miranda was founded in 1968 by professor Fabrizio di Miranda and has flourished for over forty years under the experienced guidance of senior partners Mario de Miranda and Elena Gnecchi Ruscone.
Studio Miranda is world renown for their timeless innovative work in design and engineering.

Studio De Miranda was behind the  Ati Hangar in Naples, and the largest bridge in Italy, the Lingotto suspended helideck.  The Lingotto helideck was awarded the European Prize ECCS for Steel Structures.  The firm was also the creative force behind  Livenza, Guama’, which is the largest suspension bridge in Brazil.  Professor Miranda was the Consultant of Gec Alsthom Sdem, from 1996 to 1998, and he worked on the construction of the Storebaelt Bridge, the longest suspension bridge in Europe, and the second longest in the world.
